Werner Herzog Collection (1971 - 1997)

7 film, 6 disc collection of Werner Herzog's best works, from documentaries to feature films. Anchor Bay R0 USA boxset.

Summary:

Werner Herzog is best known for his 5 partnerships with the notiously volatile actor Klaus Kinski. However, as well as these films, the German director has shot over 40 productions, from straight forward but powerful documentary pieces to free-form visual documents, and from entertaining short films to surreal and dream-like feature films. Anchor Bay's Werner Herzog Collection provides an interesting sample of Herzog's works and includes a mix of documentaries and feature films. It is a great set for newcomers to get, and essential for Herzog fans. See the individual reviews for more.
